Get to know the person behind Social Bee

IMG_0970.jpg

My name is Rosa Carta,

I started working for the remodeling industry of 2016 working an office position and after just two years, I quickly jumped into design! I really enjoyed designing spaces however, I would find myself gravitating towards social media. It had always fell on my lap as a task that at first I thought I didn't really want but after some time, I developed an interest and slowly started watching myself wanting to learn more. Looking back, I thought I really loved the transition fun videos or creating a holiday post card or even a page with a small description for a design magazine however, it turns out that even though I do enjoy the creation side of it; it was the fact I was helping a small business out. I also loved the social aspect that came with this task! The social events held after my 9-5 job is something I would look forward to as anyone who knows me, knows that I am a total social butterfly! I thrive on personable connections and building long-lasting relationships while executing a plan for their goals. I started handling social media on the side while working my full time job(ask me how my social life was during this time, it makes for a great story now.) As my name went from one account to another, I suddenly had a second full time job and knew this was the moment I needed to do something for myself that I throughly enjoy doing! I always envisioned myself running solo but never knew when the right time would be, as all of my fellow mentors would say, "You don't know, you just do it or you never will" and after several, I mean several thoughts, I jumped with both feet in and never looked back. It was the best decision I have ever made. I now work with amazing designers, builders, and many others in the home improvement industry while attending chamber events, ribbon ceremonies and more here in the community.

When I am not working, I love to spend time with my fiancé, friends, family, and my two dogs, Harlee & Jake or sitting in on a meeting to continue to learn how to be a better version of myself and my business.
